BroadwayBrain.com founder and editor Ben Reiser

Welcome to BroadwayBrain.com! My name is Ben Reiser, and I’m a sophomore at Georgetown University, double-majoring in Government and American Studies. I’ve had a lifelong love for Broadway and theatre, and I wanted to start this website to develop and hone in my passion in a more specific area of the industry.

My hope is for this to be a site where Broadway theatre lovers can delve a little deeper into the industry. Whether you’re someone who avidly checks weekly show grosses, someone who just wants learn a little more about the business side of Broadway, or someone who randomly happened upon this page (if so, hi!), this site is for you.

You can start by checking out the Home page, which will be frequently updated as Broadway news breaks from New York. Here, you’ll find information about shows opening or closing, weekly grosses, and even more.

Stop by the History of Recoups page to find an extensive history of recent Broadway productions, and whether or not they recouped their investment (or just check it out to find out what a recoup even is in the first place!).

If you’re interested in learning about where Broadway theatre itself takes place, you’ll enjoy the Broadway Theatres page.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to submit them on the Contact page! I’d love nothing more than to receive your feedback.

In the meantime, thanks so much for stopping by!

Best,
Ben
